In his book “The 5 AM Club”, Robin Sharma writes about a world-changing habit that helps one achieve their goals and become a better person. The 5 AM Club method is not for the faint-hearted. It requires discipline, sacrifice and focus. No one likes the sound of their alarm in the morning, especially when the sun is not up yet. Sharma writes about a routine which involves getting out of bed and starting your day with yourself in mind. Between 5 and 6 am, it’s all about you. Sharma teaches a 20/20/20 formula which involves 20 minutes of exercise, 20 minutes planning, and then 20 minutes learning. Whether it be exercise, journaling, meditation, learning a new skill, everything you plan into these slots is geared towards making a better version of yourself.
